The look of glass neon, without the fragility
LED neon flex is a self-contained linear light: a dense LED strip encapsulated in a silicone or PU body with a diffuser, producing one continuous, dot-free line of light. Unlike bare LED strip which needs an aluminium profile to finish and protect it neon flex is ready to install.

What is the difference between LED neon flex and glass neon?
LED neon flex is a flexible silicone or PU profile housing a dense LED strip behind a diffuser, giving the continuous glow of glass neon without the fragility, high voltage or energy use. It is safer, far more efficient, and manufactured in IP65–IP68 ratings for indoor, outdoor and underwater use.
Can LED neon flex be used underwater?
Yes. RHEA LED Linear AquaFlex is IP68 silicone neon rated for continuous submersion in pools, fountains and water features. The exact rating and depth are confirmed per model on quotation.
Can it be used for in-ground and pathway lighting?
Yes. InGroundFlex is rated IP67/IP68 for in-ground and walkable installs pathways, steps and recessed lines.
What is the difference between silicone and PU neon flex?
Both carry the same LED engine. Silicone offers strong UV resistance, wide temperature tolerance and long outdoor life best for facades, landscape and pools. PU is lower cost and suited to indoor or short-term use such as signage and events.
How long does LED neon flex last?
Up to 50,000 hours (L70), running cooler and longer than glass neon, which cuts re-lamping and maintenance on finished work.
Is LED neon flex suitable for signage?
Yes. SignFlex is a compact neon for signage, channel letters and branding, available in silicone or PU with side-bend for lettering.
